football? whats a football?
Us ding dongs pre super bowl, pre an extra five pounds that we ate in veggie burgers and hot dogs. Lets get serious, we we're in it for the food, although Alan surprisingly knew more about the game then the average dude, so we must give him props for bro-ing out respectively.
she's got something to say
A fashion story not to be missed! We absolutely loved this, the styling is unreal, the colors are crazy, and it features one of our favorites ladies Miss Free....your welcome.

deadbeat summer
This weather is teasing us oh so badly, summer is on the mind!
We had such an amazing summer last year that we thought to share some photos from a particularly great day - Alan & Timo's joint birthday party in the park.
This is back when Haley had green hair and Alan started his long loving desire to get a pup.

Here we are, taking a little break from styling the new collection.
We swear, we were working hard all day long!

Stop Making Sense
Interest Profile-DAVID BYRNE
Mr Byrne
In a tutu
Click me for a lamp dance
Few People I have seen in this lifetime are as much of an inspiration as David Byrne is. He one of a kind. A real artist, a real New Yorker.
Not only was his band, the Talking Heads one of the most important bands of the last 50 years but he continues to lead through artistic expression.
You got a face with a view
I'm just an animal looking for a home
Share the same space for a minute or two
And you love me till my heart stops
Love me till i'm dead
Eyes that light up, eyes look through you
Cover up the blank spots
Hit me on the head

The beautifully shot film from 1984, Stop Making Sense, will make your head spin off. Its a concert, Talking Heads put on in 1984. Throughtout the show, a stage is being developed as David Byrne goes through different characters, changing outfits, and personalities. Oh yea and..That Lamp, That Lamp.

Men's Paris Fall 2012 -- Acne wins and its no surprise. We have been emailing each other back and forth discussing different collections as they were being posted and although there was a lot of good out there, this is what stuck with us. This collection was totally impressive. Acne just keeps getting better and better every season. Its super wearable but very much innovative and fashion forward at the same time. We like, we like!

bedroom eyes
This flag was a gift from our dear friend Olivia. Its vintage, count them stars, pretty fascinating.
This is the showroom set up. Whatever dudes. Its an easy way to pick and choose sunglasses and jewels. Displayed horn and fur are both lovely finds from New Mexico.
Haley's Vanity Case. You cannot see the side details of this little shelf but its lined with seashells. We found this at a well priced tag sale where we couldn't afford a thing. Okay, of course we bought one thing, it is Haley and Alan we're talking about. We haggled for a beautiful broken window pane but other then that left empty handed. We went about our day. Passing by on our way home we noticed all the unsold items were curbside waiting for a new home or a garbage collector. We then proceeded to fill Alan's somewhat broken down but very much loved Volkswagen with many amazing finds (or a whole bunch of junk). This being one of those items, a very nifty vanity shelf.
Jewels.
the spaceship to dreaming.
The top painting was done by Haley's mother as a birthday gift. She is pretty darn talented and cute. Other then that, a baby St. Germain, YSL cigarettes for two non-smokers paired with a vintage smokes case, rotting flowers that Haley never throws away because they are from Alan, a postcard photographed by William Eggleston, Chanel N.5.
Here it is, the bedroom. We love home interiors, especially the bedroom, its so totally intimate and interesting to see how people keep and store their belongings. It's something we particularly like to snoop around for on the internet, oh Hi The Selby! So this is not so much like that, but still a small look into where we lay our heads at night.

Sunday Nights
One of our favorite favorites..
Submarine
Haven't seen this good of a movie in a long time, visual perfection, totally cute and funny, and a soundtrack we have yet to stop playing. Get on it!
Pre-Movie Watching
Popcorn wars! Alan's main specialty in the kitchen is cooking up a mean batch of popcorn, ahem microwave free. He tells me its better for you. I don't think he knows the difference except for the fact that we do not own a microwave and then find ourselves getting creative. Woke up Monday morning with kernels in our smiles :)

modern girls and old fashioned men
hard at work.
Alan is wearing something secret (new collection, shhh!) ripped 501's, and thrifted Ferragamos
Haley is wearing Topshop booties, Zara jacket, Rag and Bone shirt, J Brand jeans
Haley was there when these jeans ripped, Alan bought Haley these shoes as a not so secret birthday gift, Haley bought this jacket while cold waiting for Alan to get out of work so they could drink coffee together, Alan bought these shoes while thrifting with Haley on vacation because that's they do. And that's the life story of these lil' outfits.
cuz you care.
